ohio water eyes report
well you guessed it guys and girls eyes are heating up been going out and have found fish from 71ft of water to as skinny as 67ft the larger fish are deeper schools are tight so do not commit on a streight stedy you will need to pick up and run back over, average fish seems to be 22" great for the eat not much meat but that is a trade off fish are deep 35 to 40 ft and want it fast thermos have set up and with these expect fish also i hope that i myself throw back some bigones yes its tough but rember i want and you want to fish next week and next year so give it a try rember show him to fish feed for life take it all feed one day

Thanks for the update... we won't be up this weekend because I work, but next weekend should make it for 3 or 4 days. Hope to fish in Ohio...will watch the reports when closer to trip time.

going up late but will go out im moving slow fell with a pwasher in 1arm it has not been right all week but fish are calling and i see there at my 00 or 01 not too far im going to go find them today will let you know

found some fish but cut short had a chummer waves 2to4 mixed up water but found good numbers 3.5 out to 253 and mellion inside a 225 and blk purp short strikes but good fish speed as high as 2.9mph but around 2.5mph

my girls made fun of him as he was a big strong looking guy and his buddy did not help he got razzed all the way back to the dock , glad i got a wash down poor guy it was a little rough going out coming back was sweet 31mph but not flat the river was running strong good fishing this weekend ill give it a try

did real good not out long lake a little rough and people have rectal vision on the lake today going down the river had a small boat try to run me onto the island in the river then coming in at the light house had to dump the screws at 3000rpm had a guy cut twards me then after that had another one in a 22bayliner cut on the outside of the red marker well he did not get far im sure his prop is shiny today and pump impeller is shot how many people have no common scense on the water i mean 3 in one day wow , but 253 on 3.5 and dips 150 on 0 colors blk/purp
water mellion / boy girl nothing on wire but waves were 4to6 so guess i cant say much

Went out with a couple friends from Grove City today. Not bad for a tough bite. 9 in the box, all on meat and dipsy's.

right where i said we bagged over our limit but tossing some back does not hurt me i can catch them later largest one was 8lb got alot off wire 375 to as far as 425 and dips pulled the rest speed was a 2.5mph and million minnows all over hope you did good we were tired of reeling fish what a good thing to happen heck we had to get another cooler they were packed and could not close it aaaaa now to clean and beer batter

Sounds like you guys had a good time out there. Reeling in that wire 425 yards is just way too much for an old man with a bad left shoulder ( me )  I'll take a dipsy over wire any day but if that's what it takes to fill the limit, i guess i'll have to drive the boat for a while. ya the is a long line it made numbers in the box seem blue was the flovor of the day boy/girl trout superman and mellion did the rest if i can shrink my pic ill post all solid fish and few junk seems they came back in a little around the 25th they were as far as 06 came in a little

Got invited to go out of conneaut again. This time with Tom and John from Ohio. We got one short of our limit. Trolled Toms custom painted spoon, circus freek, and renosky crankbaits. Both behind big dipsys set at 3 and 2, 190 and 220. Was out past the 11 line. Lake was almost flat. We had our speed at almost 3 mph. Had a great time with these guys and hope to get out a few more times this month as the bite is really good right now. If anybody needs a seat filled, PM me and i'd be happy to pitch in on the trip. Oh yeah, i did a lot of the driving yesterday. Here's some pics and the catch.  Tom with a world famous pose.  And the rest of the cooler.

Was out with the playin hooky crew from OGF. Got our 4 man limit. Fished conneaut from 08 to 12 line. Dipsys and stickbaits did most of the work. World famous pose.

same numbers every thing the same but shorter wire got them on short and long short was 235 speed is the key do not go below 2.5mph we have seen the current pick up and the waves may be going west but the water is going east keep a eye on your speed and fish will come guys at the dock were told run 0 til the 10 line well they got 0 fish later and give me a call im taking them up next weekend lost a hog on a black/purp one of my old lures 20yrs old but that happens looked and felt like 9 lb but not in a net and it may have been a cig least i seen it all fish were fat small was 21 and the average was 26 so good fish go get them
