Maybe it means there are lots. And people are enjoying them instead of posting here

I'll take a stab and say Northeast PA does NOT include Lycoming county?  That'd be north central?  Lycoming has some nice water.  Anyway .. the headwaters of the Sock are in Sullivan.  It's a nice stream but heavily posted I believe.  How about the west branch of the D, too?  Great stream.  I'd like to make a trip sometime soon.  I have not fished any others in the NE.

My reports and advice are for everyone to enjoy, not just the paying customers.

I really enjoy taking the jon boat out....waiting for the weather to warm a bit and then hitting Bald Eagle for crappie....the river for walleye, etc.

Gonna fish the Crappie tourney at Curwensville in May and considering a trip to Oneida Lake in NY for walleye with the kid.

Right now it's just like breakfast...there will be a lot on the plate...it's just not quite ready yet.....

Well trout is in fulll swing. I got 23 tonight in the west branch of the wallenpaupack creek. This will be the last stocking, so on to bass fishing. It is spawn time so big ones will practically be on the shore. I throw em back...lol

In my opinion theres a hella lot of good water in the North East. But like everything else the famous spots or regions in PA overshadow alot of other things. In that regard I will never complain :)
My first winter In West Yellowstone ,Montana I frequented the public library quite often. One book I found had a bunch of famous fisherman+writers and they listed their top 5 favorite fishing spots. Now take into consideration that this was back in the 50's. And some of the streams arent quite as good as they are nowadays. The Brodhead was listed by a majority of them. Too bad the Army Corps fluffed that area by Analomink and straightened it out. My father told me how the stream was like before the floods. S curves and every pool was full of trout....
