flathead bait ......haaha

Welp........took the kids to catch some Flathead bait.......turned into an awesome time catching some honker gills and seeds and a few bass........

the little ones were whipping the fly rods around.........each casting alone and even catching a few fish without my help--all I did was fish removal......these panfish were MONSTERS........

    NICE!! Gotta love it when it's as much fun catching the bait as fishing for the big ones!
    Glad the youngsters had a good time, great way to get them involved!

    And you know... I caught my first bluegills over 30yrs ago, and I STILL get a kick out of it!

    They caught a few bigger.....don't want to post the pics and possibly give the lake away
    These fish were thick....................
