Leaf drop

How are the other areas of the state.  Here in the SW it is way behind normal.  I would say 10% are starting to change.  Most of the oaks and maples are still green.

Also, while in my stand, the understory growth is still pretty thick limiting visibility.  I checked out one of my rut stands and I could barely see 12 yards.

Could be wierd hunting the first two weeks in November with green leaves and limited visibility during the rut.  The 14 day forecast I saw this morning had no chance for a frost in the next two weeks here.  We have yet to get one.

They're really starting to change here in centre county. Dropping fast now, big difference in a couple of days.

There's more color every day, but I do agree that, overall, it is later than usual.
