that contest already happened, but there is another on july 17. it will run from 7am to 7 pm. $40.00 for the main contest $60.00 to get across the board. lots of chances to win some cash.

Lots of people at paradise friday night. We fished one the #2 pond from 730 pm to 5am, out of 3 people, 6 poles, we caught one small cat, thats all. Only around 10 fish caught on that pond the whole night, between around 30 people.
Pretty lame fishing for my first pay pond experience.

whats good to use out paradise for cats? I know chicken livers are good at ponds and rivers but im sure these fish get smart like the carp do. Any suggestions?

Just curious, but what bait is not legal ? I spoke with one board member and I now know fish guts are not, and I believe he mentioned crayfish also.

The catfish here at Paradise hit on smashed shiners, chicken liver, leeches, crawlers, shrimp and the biggest cats like bluegills. If you come out ask for Jim and I will do my best to put you onto some catfish and to some new methods. We have a number of guys who have no problem helping someone out that is just starting to fish here, just ask and we are glad to assist you. Fishing here is just like anywhere else, sometimes they hit and sometimes they do not. The 90 degree heat does not do much for the fish bite.

Nice. Offers like that is one of the reasons this site is great ! I need to get a bunch of irons out of the fire...soon... I actually thought about winterizing the boat yesterday, just for a split second... Scary.....  Really would like to give Paradise a shot...some day.....

was pretty lame went one night and biggest cat caught was like 12 pounds? some **** smart catfish... had nightcrawlers, small blue gills, liver, plastic crawfish stuffed with craw gel scent... might been a bad night but like 60 pple in 2 small ponds hardly caught anything lol
