5-3-10

Fished a State Park in Central Pa. this morning. From 7:30 til 1:00. Caught 44 trout, and my buddy caught between 30 and 40 on his flies. Not many people fishing. Best time was 10 a.m. til 11.

If my quick calcs are correct, between the two of you that is a fish every 4 minutes for 5 1/2 hours!  That is pretty darn good.  Are you up north in Parker?  We've seen them stacked in there, but never had anything even close to this.

The moment of truth. Where all other things unconsciously melt away from our minds the instant a fish takes our fly. We stand there on the water with wide eyes, caught in a battle stance with an idea of confidence and hope

Never heard of anyone guide for stock trout. I only fish for fun.  I wonder KJH how many of your trout were OVER 4 inches. Didn't know I was a beginner with 35 years of fishing under my belt. What does that make you, a wet spot?

I can't say I really care for these posts, but is it really that hard to believe this guy and his friend caught 80 stockers between them in a little over 5 hours?

Speaking from experience, a wooly bugger tipped with a live salamander, dragged through a pod of dog-food-hungry pellet-heads, in a delayed harvest area, can certainly result in 80 slack-jawed stocked-trout in 5 hours. The only issue is finding enough friends willing to filet that many pellet-heads.

the point, dru, is that there are large numbers of fish in the central PA area, they are biting live bait and flies, and they are biting best in the late morning.

If you cannot see the point of that information, then please save us all from your stupidity and forget what your password is to this site. There is no reason at all to start ripping someone for a valid post.

Hillbilly, thank you for simplifying my fishing report. Didn't realize it was so complex. But some people really are educationaly challenged. I posted reports and people didn't believe them. I posted pictures and they still said they are fake. So from now on I will post reports without pictures. Makes no difference to me. These fools really are rediculous. What is really sad is they could ACTUALLY LEARN something. But they know it all!!
