Favorite Colors for eyes...

What are your favorite colors for Eyes?

We seem to have the best luck with purple/blacks in the summer and brighter greens/yellows in the spring.

    Orange/Black copper back(Chicken Wing) and watermelon copper back were the top 2 last summer. Earlier in the year the Chart backs like blueberry muffin and white backs(pink panties) produced. On spoons Perch is always good as is metallic watermelon. Rainbow trout colored stickbaits as well. Last summer in the central basin it was the way of the worm for us outproduced everything else. I have 200 crankbaits 200 harnesses and a couple hundred spoons and very rarely run more than 8 rods at a time, my wife says I may have a small problem. The only problem I see is that I need to buy more freezers every year.

    I usually start the day with half my rods running this:

    The other half of my rods are mass confusion(copper), anything green, or black.purple

    What worked for us was a flat fish with a white irridescent finsih. Good luck finding them. Spoons was blueberry muffin with a chatrruse back color. Flat line 325' back was a rapala silver flash deep tail dancer tdd-11. Not many on the flat line but the ones that came in the boat on that lure were all over 10lbs weighed on a scale. Next try drift fishing with buck tails jiggin thm, great on the gas tank.

    Copper blades/ orange beads

    Silver blades/red beads

    double meat

    I don't always snag fish, but when I do...

    Helmut, Shrimp, Rasberry Dolphin, Alien, Pinktail, Purple Frog, Perch, Nascar, Mrs. Pauls, Melon, Purple Clown, Chart,/Green Dots, Circus Freak.

    Renosky Plugs...
    RT, Purple Pink, Wonderbread, Perch, Chart./White, Blue/Chart. and some custom painted baits.  They also came out with a few new colors this year that I am dying to try!

    Reef Runners...
    All of the Bare Naked series, Copperhead, Kryptonite, Purple Demon, Pink Lemonade and some custom painted baits.
