Another Hog!!


 
Me and a friend were out bass fishing the other night, he was catching them very steady on a fluke and i was throwing a jig around.  Toward the end of the night we fished a stretch of lilly pad stems and this big girl ate my chatterbait!!  This has been the best Spring for bass fishing that I can ever remember!

    Your really gettin it done duud. This one and the last.... were some of the biggest bass I've seen.

    Thanks allot, I put allot of time in studying these fish much like i do in the fall to hunt big whitetails.  Hopefully i can get it done in the tournaments this season as well.  Thanks again for the compliments guys it means allot!

    I hit a place the other day and cauht 10 and yours would eat mine.lol

    Caught the pike earlier in the year, they like chatterbaits to! LOL  nothing big though just lil hammerhandles.    
     
    Pork,  Yes i  LOVE the carrot stix  when they first came out i thought wow what a scam.  I fished a tourney up on lake champlain with a guy who had a bunch of them and he let me throw on for a lil while and i fell in love with it, they are the lightest rods i have ever held and have the perfect flex and stiffness.  You can pay more for a rod but you wont find one that can launch a bait like these things.
    I tried a MOJO bass rod last year, they were 50 bucks cheaper but no comparison, i will spend the extra 50 bucks any day.  Try one out you wont be sorry

    Another great rod company is Kistler rods. I have been using Kistler rods for 4 years and they are fantastic. I never have used a carrot stick but im sure they are great rods too. Kistlers are amazing light and sensitive. Just giving you another option.

    I have a carrot stix drop shot rod and they are amazing. Very sensitive and light. I have heard bad things about them but i have never had a problem with mine. I also like the Wright and McGill Tessera Skeet Resse series rods. They are around $90 and very sensitive too
