little j trout opener; additional trophy pic

Was fishin' last night and had two fellers come down and watch me fish. When I hooked one, they asked why I was fishin (did they previously think I was casting ?). They were doing clipping for the trout opener. It's open year round, dumas. Read the sign. They couldn't believe it was catch and release, open year round water. Makes me wonder how many fish are put on stringers from the C & R section. (especially on the lower river).

Fish were still on 14s last evening. With the warmth, I may stop and see whats up with activity this evening around the shop. Whether I fish, will depend on that.

I also saw a picture of drake's most recent Ohio trophy. This is my attempt to apply some pressure for an online pic. It's a STUD ! He even won a "big fish contest" with it. Congratulations Dan !

    I believe Dan is out of a computer for a little while. The pic I saw was blown up, full page landscaped 8 X 11 in black & white. If the color is good, it could make the front page of flyfisherman. Fanastic picture.

    Let's all apply some pressure to get that baby posted.
