very low and dirty from the res down Chris. There are fish there but best of course in the early AM. Water still very warm what little there is. Also check out www.cattarauguscreekoutfitters.com for up to date stream reports.   Dave

$40.00  NY  and $35.00 for res. license, at least thats what it was last year. You dont need both but dont get caught on the indian res. without a license. I heard that it would be big trouble.

Just checked thier web site cause I'm heading up this weekend. Non-resident season license is $40 like phoneman said. Seven day is $25 and if you only makin a day trip you can get a one day license for $15.  For the one day license, site says call 1-866-933-2257 for additional info.

Fished the Cat yesterday with a friend.  Water low but there were pockets of fish in the deeper runs.  Overall hooked up with six fish and landed only one.  Fish were strong.  Fluorocarbon knots didn't hold up on the three fish I hooked.  All fish came unbuttoned at the knot after fighting fish for several minutes.  Oh well, the head shakes were worth the trip!

    You don't need fluorocarbon there.
