my oh my the winter blues need to end
I was thinking about fishing the other day. I reminded myself I need a new 5 wt, and need to send my 9 wt. away to get some rings machined back into the guides. I got out some stuff, even tied a 2/0 white deceiver. Just one, just not motivated to crank out big stupid flies. My head cement was complete glue, hackle pliers no where to be found. Got out the stuff to tie some grannoms but just looked at it. I need a new partridge skin for soft hackles.
Boy this winter sucks. It's been long. I'm sick of watching television. I'm sick of taking little sleeps after work. I'm sick of the wind. Sick of Joe Murgo sayin' "today is what I call a window day" -- duud, nevermind. The good news is this amount of snowfall doesn't happen often. And the mornings almost seem "spring-likish" ..
February is by far my least favorite month. I wish I could hiberate. Come on mid-March !!

SK, you need a trip to Erie(ice fishing in the bay has been outstanding) or just go ice fishing around here. This is my favorite time of the year to fish. No crowds and it sure beats sitting at home thinking about it!!!

I have only been ice fishin' once, around here. I did not care for it. Not that it wasn't fun, it just didn't get me excited. It probably would be more exciting on the PI bay.

we are fishing spring creek on sunday, about 6 of us from the boards anyone want to go let me know & if Drake shows maybe he can show us how to catch winter suckers

Dardys, I have been dying to do some scouting, but my father in law was just moved from the ICU at the hospital. Family comes first. Hope we get some snow from this "storm" around central Pa. Had an inch this morning, but by 2 p.m. the ground was dry.

If he does, please get a photo, all of the old ones seem to have been lost and the Pottery Barn stuff just isn't anywhere near as funny. I'm guessing T-45 days to Grannoms.

drake how much snow are they getting in state college, bugdrifter & his buddy & double taper & his buddy & anad & spank & me. if to much snow we will try another weekend & I will post if we are not going. dan I will pm if we cancel

silverkype are you going on sunday we will meet at my camp around 9:00 AM by the cement bridge below the paradise, my camp is one of them at the bridge were you drive down into instead of crossing the bridge going down stream
