State Park Closeings

If you hunt or fish in any of the state parks, you may soon have a problem. Thanks to the masterminds in Albany. Please if you can contact your local legislators,congressmen,senator, whoever and leave them your support and plea to keep YOUR parks open, it may help. With access to areas getting rare this doesn't help. Here's the parks by region that are to close by April. Long Island Area; Brookhaven, Caleb Smith, Cold Spring Harbor, Connetquot (close weekdays), Nissequogue, Orient Beach, and Trail View. PALISADES REGION; Schunnemunk. TACONIC REGION; Donald J. Trump, Wonder Lake. SARATOGA CAPITAL REGION; Hudson River Islands, John Boyd Thacher, Max V. Shaul, Schodack Island. CENTRAL REGION; Chittenango Falls, Clark Reservation, Helen Mcnitt, Hunts Pond, Oquaga Creek, Old Erie Canal, Pixely Falls, Robert Riddell, Selkirk Shores beach closed. FINGERLAKES REGION; Beechwood, Bonavista, Chimney Bluffs, Newtown Battlefield,Springbrook Greens, Two Rivers. THOUSAND ISLAND REGION; Canoe Island, Cedar Island, Eel Weir, Keewaydin, Macomb, Mary Island, Point AU Roche. GENESEE REGION; Oak Orchard State Marine. NIAGARA REGION; Joseph Davis, Knox Farm, Wilson-Tuscarora, Woodlawn Beach. ALLEGANY REGION; Allegany trails maintenance eliminated also Quaker Cabins Area closed Dec.1st, Long Point State Park also closed.
