Don't go off Dobbins aka Public Dock

Went to fish off Dobbins on Saturday and got about 4 feet out & fell through the ice. Was able to get out by rolling on the ice. The ironic part of this was the Sherrif's scuba team was doing a spot on how to get out of the ice if you fall in. We were on the west steps & they were on the east side. They marked the area real good.

    Seen they had a hole cut on the west side on 2/9/10 20 feet from the steps thats prob where you went in suprised they did'nt mark it. it was not marked when i seen it. Give them a call and thank them.

    Actually I was able to get right out by rolling and if needed I had my ice spikes and a buddy there to hand me the auger if I had needed it. Was able to go home put the clothes in the dryer, take a hot shower and head back out to an area that was well traveled. THe jumbo perch turned on yesterday at the 3rd lot around 3"30 yesterday.

    Add this to the list of things I will never understand. Kinda like a fire dept starting a house on fire and driving away.
