Steelhead Ice line?

What kind of line do you use for steelies through the ice?

    6 lb. super mono by hand. Nothing quite like catching a steelie with out a pole. You might wanna make yourself a gaff as well(if you're lookin to keep um that is).

    P-LINE 100% flourocarbon I like 6lb test ....... I used 100% Flouro seaguar due to the baitshop being out of PLINE in January . Big mistake lost 3 of 6 fish .....broke every time above my shot & flies . Went to the shop the next week .... Didn't lose a single feesh .... Some lines just do not handle the cold real well BRITTLE .... Berkley vanish is another that lives up to it's reputation to vanish as a chromer swims away with your goods .
