Chautauqua

Hit the lake today to try for some perch.
Went out at Pendergast and fished the mouth of the creek.
Fishing was really slow only a dozen perch.
Did see a big Musky come by the Aqua View..

Got lucky when I got checked by a NY State trooper.
I couldn't find my receipt for my bait.
He said he would normally fine me but he saw on my liscence I had just purchased it at Hogan's Hut and just let me go with a warning...Thank you Thank you...I still can't find the dam thing...

    my buddy & I have been going to Maple Springs every weekend for the past 4-5 weeks and doing pretty decent. MS is on the opposite side from PG.

    Bings if you are going to prendergast try to put in at the Launch and head north east towards maple springs in about 32ft water thats were my buddy Dave and I find them on a regular basis If you go towards creek lots of Muskies in that area and perch seem to be a little shy in that area we usually fish for walleyes over there just a thought
