was 5-7" in icehouse bay sunday. hard & making.

Careful infront of the really big brown house though, he apparently is not fond of icefishermen & has a warm water discharge running into the lake. had a little less than 4" by his back yard & got to listen to him blaring 'Hit the road Jack' on his outdoor sound system at 8:00 am. LOUD.

    I stayed & fished....and danced a jig.
    What a jag.

That warmwater discharge should be a fish magnet.

Yes, fished about 5 to 6 feet. Bite was very light. If I had had my shanty I might have done better being able to watch them bite.

Fished firemans beach again today from 2:30 till dark. The pike have moved in and the gills have moved out. Tough dragging the old shanty throug all the snow.

I am not hating ice fisherman.  As I am one myself.   Just wanted to know how much snow was on the lake.  And hoping that the area didnt get as much as the last big snowfall to ruin the ice conditions.  I fish on the hardwater as much as I possibly can.  And other that archery hunting, nothing beats ice fishing.  PERIOD.

Fished this morning out of firemans beach.   Lost a nice pike at the hole on a tip up and that was the action for the day.  The only fish marked on the camera was a small bass.  Did not see a single gill.  A good amount of people fishing the north end, will be trying that part of the lake on my next trip.

Fished off of fireman's beach early this morning. Drilled several holes, no gills to be seen. Noticed 3 guys catching pike on tip ups.
