saturday fishing report

went off niagra boat ramp on penninsula and had 2 hits that's all i could see the guys at chestnut am trying lake pleasant tomorrow lots of fisherman at lake pleasant but couldn't tell hosw they were doing just did a drive by

Insane amount of action in the first hour that I was at misery. Friends showed up and by the time they got set up the bite was shutting down. Moved quite a bit looking for more fish with marginal success. Will be out again tomorrow.

Kids and I went off of chestnut about 1:30 fished to 7:30pm I figured they would get into the fish even if it were small throw backs, we ended up with 9 keepers threw back about 15 small ones. Lost a few under the holes. Ice is still in good shape. I should have gone off 2nd parking lot for the blue gills that been catching or should have gone off Niagara boat launch and hunt for them the way I was all week, then maybe would have caught more of the hawgs, even though the numbers would have been the same as today, just would have taken longer to get. We would have tof some hole hopin'.
Next week it is going to get cold!!!!!! Ice should get thicker. Bring us longer hard water!!!

Me and my buddy were out on Misery bay Sat.Got there about 9:00am wasn't seeing much action until around noon.saw a couple fat crappies and a nice pike pulled out. other than that very small gills and perch at random.We were going for the bigger guys and were HAMMERING largemouth.
