How is Horseshoe and Misery for ice?

I was wondering how ice conditions are on Misery and Horseshoe pond?? I have been checking chestnut, but was wondering where the better place to go to get on and off with the conditions the way they are.

Misery has about 9" total, 5 black and 4 white. The top 4" was starting to soften and get slushy today. Bring your cleats, there were some pretty slick spots with water on top.

Thank you all for the post, I may very well go there but I am tempted by perch and the bay by going off chestnut, Crappies or perchie
