Thompson's Lake Sunday anyone?

Hey all, great site and great bunch of guys here.  My cousin and i are thinking of doing Thompson's

Sun. mid morning, anyone thinking of going?   We will be using a hand auger and have 8 tip ups

between us.  We would like to try for trout or big teeth, or if it's slow, perch.   Anyone know the

ice/snow situation on that lake?   Last Sat. we hit  Dunham res. but had no luck after 10 holes.

Ice there was crystal clear about 8-10" ice and about 10 or 12" of snow with some slush around the

shore.

    I am not positive, but there may be a tournament there this weekend? anybody know for sure.

    That is happening on the 30th from 6am--1pm.
