We've been over this before. From the last record-breaking largemouth thread:

I've fished Castaic and some of those other Cali reservoirs and its total BS. Its a tiny lake and they put truckloads of 10 inch rainbows in the lakes for largemouths to gorge themsleves on. Its no different than if you had your own pond and hand-fed the catfish whole chickens every day. That is what they do with those lakes in Japan, as well. Bogus record.

They are food. Nobody fishes that lake for trout."
