No ice fishing Presque Isle Bay!

Just wanted to let you guys know i heard on the news the coast guard said no one should be on the ice on 1/12/2010. Thee is a very large cargo ship coming through the Bay and may cause unsafe ice conditions.

Anyone think itd be okay to fish Misery still tomorrow? I know its the main bay that will actually be affected but I assume it could cause Misery to crack also?

I was out on Misery last year when they brought a ship in, I never felt or saw anything. Im sure it would be fine.

The Lord has blessed us all today... It's just that he has been particularly good to me.

it'l be fine- icebreaker is just going through the channel and the shipping lane on the east side of bay... happens every year.. nothing new. you'll  be fine on horseshoe, misery, head of bay if you wanna venture on the bay....
