Monday on Ice 1/4/10

Went out with Capt.Hook for a few hours before his shift - well the Esox didn't feel like playing but the Panfish did, not sure how many we caught, and after Hook left, I managed a Crappie and a Gizzard Shad to the numerous Panfish caught . Fished from 8am till a lil after 2pm, as I was packing up (only one on the ice) Mr. DEC walked over to check my credentials ... Nice guy - even got informed as to where they were were getting some "Real Nice" ones- Pike. (JIMMY )  .... The numbers for the Panfish were there, but the size wasn't . Still had an awesome time with Hook looking forwards to the next trip !

    DEC has been out regularly on Lake Lonely and always nice guys.  Told me they only have four DEC staff to cover the area.
