caroga lake 01-01-10

went up to caroga lake today.  showed up a bit late.  caught 12 perch and 13 little tiny splake.  biggest fish was an 8 inch perch.  2 perch were caught off of minnows everything else was just a treble hook with a tin splitshot pinched on the shank and jigging it up and down.

if at first you dont succeed... blow it up.

you want organic? well then shut the &^$() up and eat a *$&#*( squirrel.

Hmmm doesn't sound too good about the splake...maybe not worth the trip after all.  Thanks, Craveman.

well dont take it to heart.  its my first time catching them at caroga lake.  ive only fished it a few times and this was the only time i caught anything.  usually i fish in about 10-15 fow at west lake.  i was also only fishing about 20 feet of water.  if i knew what i was doing i think i would have been more productive.  i also showed up a bit late.
