new blades

since my brother pretty much destroyed the edge on my new ice blades and i cant find my other sets of backup blades i decided to make some backup blades from 1.5" flat steel bar.  they actually cut better than brand new blades!!!  i dont expect them to hold an edge long but for about a buck how could i go wrong.  gonna sharpen my real blades up and go up to west lake in the morning.  maybe canada lake for once.
