tips for ice fishing
not looking for anyone to give away secrets, but just general tips maybe some of us have never tried.
For staying warm I always were sock liners and those cheap 1$ strechy gloves, liquor helps sometimes too.
This may sound a little nutty but last year my friend started walking the extra line when I was battling big lakers, when your dealing with 100ft+ of line knots suck, after landing or losing the fish it made throwing the line back down the hole super easy, the depth was maked on the line, but no tangles just throw a minnow on and right back down.
