The pure solitude of today made the day worth it for me. Theres absolutely nothing like winter time steelhead fishing. It just hard to believe that everyone talks about these days but you know there was only one other guy brave enough to fish today and we didnt see him till noon. It was great to go out and act like kids jumping on the ice to clear a hole out and not worry about what anyone was going to say.

I had a great time today also bob. I sure am happy you called me at 7 and said you were almost here otherwise I would have stayed home wondering what the day would have been like. I'll take a million of these days over a 30 fish day anytime.

The memories of today were absolutely priceless.

I sat home all day tending to the wife and kids(after last weekend!) and you just had to rub it totally into my wounds now didn't you???  LOL

My bro and nephew were there today fishing closer to the mouth and caught a bunch...

Looks like you guys had fun.  I should be up Wed. to relieve some of the pain!

Scott looks like you had fun on that ice should have been drilling holes with me and B. 1st on ice this year didn't catch nothing but fished 40 plus holes. The ice was about three inches thick.
