Jig Painting

Im looking to start painting my own jigs and spoons.   I have been searching for sites to order the jigs and paint from,  but i have never tried to do this before.  Im looking for good paint to use.  most of the jigs i buy from other people who paint them the paint chips off after a few times used.  i would appreciate any pointers or the best sites i can order from.   thanks would appreciate the feed back.

I use powder paint also, just make sure you clean the hook eye out first before you bake them.

I'm gonna fish more and work less.

I have not painted a bunch of jigs but I use powder paint when I have and it has worked great.

Janns has a lot of good lure making items and decent prices. http://www.jannsnetcraft.com/Content/powder_paint_fishing_lures.htm

I used vinyl paint in the past. It was soft and would "give" when the jigs/darts would bounce bottom. Eventually it would chip/peel off. Powder paints seem the way to go.
