Thompsons

Well hit thompsons this afternoon determined to get my wife to catch a trout out of there. We've gone there about 4-5 times in the past month or two and everytime I've landed a few on the fly rod while she gets skunked with a spinning rod

so this time I let her use both fly rods and we set out to perfect conditions and.....she missed two fish, skunked again. and i think thats it for my december fishing, her company xmas party is saturday next week so there go my SR plans, guess i gotta start listening better, then the holidays, maybe I'll get lucky the weekend before xmas, but I doubt it. but I got a new wallpaper shot.

I got out to another puddle on Saturday at dawn and the trout weren't active at all. Did you happen to get a water temp while you were up there? has to be getting there...
