Deer are getting more active

I think this little change in weather has the deer moving. Haven't seen a buck since summer ... well i saw a 4pt on the way home last night and a spike horn this morning. So this weekend could be more productive for you boys.

Good luck !

Full Moon coordinating with a Massive Coastal Low Pressure will do that

They were apparently done moving by the time I got into stand this morning, though

By far this was the worst 2 days so far hunting. Camped over sat & sunday in cold windy & snowy conditions.
Deer did not move and fed tight to their beds. Pushed up 2 spikes together past Lorne yesterday, no shots...
I seen 4 deer in 2 days, he seen about a dozen.. Way off from what whe have been seeing. The deer were not browsing and still hunting sucked...

Maybe another trip, sure hope the weather turns nice again

I dunno, maybe its them Otsego County deer you hunt RJ, but I've never seen so many deer around my house as I did starting saturday evening...just means that you gotta keep at it!
