Boat floor options

Anyone know of a good material other than carpet to use in the floor of a boat.  I just replaced the floor in my boat and would like something that is easy to clean and doesn't hold water like carpet does.  I was thinking along the lines of a outdoor rubber matting.  Any ideas?
Thanks

Hydro Turf. Best boat flooring I've ever seen. Although if you want a sparkling clean floor, this is probably not for you. IMO it's a trade up, I've never experienced a boat floor that was easy to clean AND had good traction. Traction is my main requirement for a boat floor and Hydro Turf works good, plus you can use a few strips in various places to hold lures if you have any leftover.

Cabela's sells a marine vinyl that I would try if I was doing it. I like the carpet floor i put in my boat but vinyl would be much easier tokeep  clean. I believe cabela's carries a non slip vinyl but maybe your local carpet place could also get it?

As Dave said. Makes cleaning worm guts and dried minnows much easier.
Wish I would have bought that than the carpet.
Try this sight. Good info (thanks mimbo).

I was thinking about the bed liner option, and have read about people using it.  However, it seems like it would be pretty slippery when wet.  Spoonchucker, any experience using it?

Not on a boat, but the liner in my truck never seems to get slippery.

I have the spray in liner in my truck as well and it's not as slippery as the paint. Not sure but you might be able to add some sand. If you put a non-marine plywood in you may be asking for a rot problem by putting something non breathable on it, just thinking outloud (usually not a good idea for me).

The non skid vinyl flooring is Nautolex brand, as for marine plwood being rot resistant thats bullshat, the only difference between marine and good exterior is the marine has no voids in the inner plys, the glue is the same. the best way is to use a QUALITY exterior plywood and epoxy resin encapsulate it, after cutting to fit, after installing the wood, cover it with 7.5 oz cloth and more epoxy resin, then the nautolex, a floor fixed like this will last as long as you want to keep the boat

use a garage floor sealer its oil base and slip restiant and can be colors where bed liners are mostly black a vin will last years but drop the anchor on good time and cut the vin so that is what you will get its a trade off
