Soggy slow morning

Well they called for 100% rain ... they were right !!! ... Didn't stop me and Duane from hitting the water.
 
We put in a few hours this morning on my Res boat looking for smallies. We had the place to all to our own, and the water levels are still very high compared to last year. Temps were nice and the winds stayed down so it was comfortable anyway.
 
As for fish ... well i have never seen so many lost fish  , only 1 fish actually made it to either one of our hands. We must have lost a doz that we set the hook on and they took drag for a second or two. A couple spit the bait at boat side. They were not hitting the bait hard at all , so i can only think some of them picked up the lure and only had 1/2 of just never had the hook ???
 
They were also scattered big time. Usually there once one gets hooked you can pick up 2-3 in the same location. Not today, there was no patteren at all. Thye did hit on all the usual items tubes, flukes, plastic swimbaits. Just couldn't keep them on.
 
Oh well, had a good time fishing with Duane ... we will get them next time
