Where to display my license ????

I have been asked about where to display the 2009 hunting license....... and this is the info the PGC wishes me to share.....

There is nothing on the licesne and nothing in the digest...

so I talked to the local WCO yesterday and an E-mail from the PGC this morning... and here's what they said..

There was supposed to be legislation to NOT require the license to be displayed on your back... that is why nothing is on the license or in the digest...

HOWEVER --

the legislation did not move.....so...
now the question is where to display the license........

The offical code says it must be diplayed according to what is on the license/digest... but...  MUST BE DISPLAYED.. and there are no printed instructions....

so as it stands--

as long as it is displayed somewhere on your body it will be considered legal... much like your fishing license must be displayed...

the "suggestion" is to do as we have always done and display it on your back.. but of course some will want to be different..

Mine will be in the same holder as always and centered on my back.......

Commissioner Martone stated at a local meeting last month, that it is currently like a fishing license and can be displayed anywhere, (waist, back, hat, wherever) but it must still be displayed. Legislation to change this is in the works.

Better too far back, than too far forward.

There's a company somewhere in Pa that makes holders and I was told the state rep from that area is one who does not want the requirement changed and has been good at getting movement of the bill staled...
