9-6-09 on Ballston With RF

Hit Ballston with RF today and had a full day of fishing.

It started out as a beautiful morning- Full Moon still poking through.

Uh-oh!  There seems to be something missing.  RF where's the motor battery?

No worries.  RF zipped back home to pick it up and I chilled by the boat.  We were on the water in no time.

Here's one of the few bass that were boated.

And here's another.  A bunch of others were lost, including a few lunkers.

Got a bunch of perch though, no monsters though, but enough for a tasty snack when I got home.

The boat traffic was heavy and we both suspect that it spooked the fish, but all in all it was a good day, with a great guy!  Thanks RF!

Sweet fishin guys! nice mess of perch.

A lure drawing the first strike of an early morning, the strong tug on the end of your line, the excitement of a leaping fish... that,s livin large!
