That some big news right there, isn't it!?!

I agree with Brian, "Zara Spook" is a great name for a kid...

When he is still a little baby you can put one of those propeller-beanies on his head and call him "Tiny Torpedo"!

Just a suggestion Jeff, don't go overboard with the name. People think it's cute to name their kids something unusual/strange, but remember that this child will grow up to be an adult. Some of the names I see in my daughter's class make me wonder what these parent were thinking. Just my 2 cents.

Doug- that only applies if it is someone's OWN kid...

If it is a friend's new child you should always encourage them to tag the poor kid with the most ridiculous name possible...

Of course, Reel Force could always follow Johnny Cash's advice and name the little dude "Sue"!

It's got to result in a tougher kid than some punk farmboy named Jim!

I spent 15 years of my life stooped over at the waist with a bushel basket picking up tilled potatoes and filling coffee cans with Horn Worms off tomato plants...  And it sure didn't toughen me up any!

I bet if my parents named me "Zara Spook" I would have been better prepared to handle myself!

A lure drawing the first strike of an early morning, the strong tug on the end of your line, the excitement of a leaping fish... that,s livin large!

I kind of agree with HLS.  Nothing like teaching to help prove that out.  100's of names a year at least 10 ridiculous ones.  I can't help remembering a troubled young teen named Justin Casey.  While I found it amusing,  he certainly did not. Makes you wonder what really is in a name?

Let's not forget A boy named Sioux!

This is all great advice...  Sorry for my facetious "Tiny Torpedo" suggestion, it was all in jest of course.

But in all seriousness...  How about naming him "Jeff"?

Seems like a good name to me, and the little guy can carry on your outstanding tradition of being an accomplished fisherman, great freind, and all around 'good guy'.  We won't bring him to parties and feed him beer for at least twenty-one more years, but at least he starts out on good footing.

Congrats again Reel Force...  Good luck this weekend!
