no doe tags

just putting this out there as all the facts aren't there yet, but did any one see yesterdays erie times sports page article on the major snafu at the erie county courthouse regarding doe tags? I just called it up on the times news web page and it seems there's a possibility anyone mailing applications to the ECCH may not be getting a tag. I have 2 buddies that mailed to the crawford co. courthouse and got not only 1, but also a bonus tag for 1B, while everyone I know that mailed to erie still haven't received theirs. 1B is always the first to sell out, so how the hell can there be bonus tags? Crawford co. must have seen an excess of tags and sold them off as bonus tags because the erie courthouse hadn't gotten to theirs yet.  the guy that heads up this part of the ECCH said most applications went off without a hitch. I sure hope so! Erie co. does seem to get theirs out late. If there is a major F up then the whole process needs to be revamped. PGC really needs to get into the 21st century, Sunday hunting for one and ****it, issue those doe tags when you get your license. Every other state I hunt in does it, so can we!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know a few people that have had theirs for weeks now. I am one of the unlucky ones that had their app. in on time and was gladly welcomed home to the pink envelope of denial that was stamped "Allocation Filled". The day mine was sent back, the website said there were still 6000 available. i wasn't happy. They really screwed it up this year.

Go to PGC website & check if you want to know if you got it or not.

Select the first of the two options, (not doe license availability)  enter your information and select check lottery results.

I went to buy a 2B tag over the counter today at the Westmoreland county courthouse. When I went to the counter, the woman there was actually stuffing licenses into the pink envelopes. I assume these are licenses from the second wave. She had to stopp to sell me my 2B tag. So, if you sent to Westmoreland county treasurer, I'd expect to get your tag in the next 2 to 3 days.

John Still only 1  for 2b  **** was checking my honey hole last evening and This FOOL has tied ladder to a tree not 20 yards from the tree I have been hunting close to 15 years. And trust me you can tell I have been climbing this tree for all them years and see all the shooting lanes. This is the same guy that did the same thing last year and put up his ladder and stand not ten yards from my buddies tree!!! Well now I'll have to wait first morning at the bottom of my tree and have a talk with this guy. I hope he's smart and just moves!!!  If he has permission to hunt there I'll help him move to another spot If not thing WILL get pretty UGLY

got my 1B, however my previous posts rang true, too many people I know didn't get their 1B tags because of a foul up of the ECCH. As I said before, I don't blame them as much as I blame the PA game commission. GET THE FRIG INTO THE 21ST CENTURY!

Why are you blaming the PGC when it is the politicions that are keeping the treasurers in the loop? You would get more results by trying to get the polititions to change the system. The treasurers don't want to give up the money from the licencse sales.  sam
