bismuth

so as usuall i ordered a case of kent fasteel(1550fps and you get 250 shells), from cabellas, and they sent me a case of bismuth(1275fps and only 100 rounds).since it was their mistake i was told to keep the bismuth, and they will send me what i ordered.not a bad deal since you cant return ammo, but has anyone used these two before.ive shot the faster steel forever, a freind says they hit harder, but i use #2 steel, and the bismuth is 4's.will the lead difference  be dramatic?id hate waste 300 hundred dollars worth of shells, when i know a few turkey hunters might be interested.any input would be appreciated.

I've had a terrible expieriance with kent shells. Never again for me.  Although that was 6 years ago and a good chance that might be a thing of the past with the way steel loads are evolving.   I stick with the high vel. winc. experts (personal preference and pattern vey well thru my patternmaster).  As far as hitting power I agree with you.  The leed is more 'foregiving" with the hv. for the close shots(under 30).  Bismuth is slower and hit harder downrange, but it might screw you up the way your used to the hv.

As far as ordering ammo from cabelas.  I don't think theres a better deal when you add up all the rebates you can get and points you can earn with the credit card.
