Hot couple hours

... and i don't mean hot fishing, i mean HOT as hell sun !! I was hoping for some type of breeze, but it was calm and hot out there. Only went for 3 hours, pretty slow as i thought it might be. The water is way down so it is very weed choked right now. I did however see schoolies of smaller crappies when ever i hit large open spots in the weeds, that was cool.
 
I only boated a few small dudes on the toad. What made my day was finding some new cover in deeper water, picked up the jig rod, said man there has got to be fish holding in there ... and boated two 3lbers on back to back cast.  
 
So no hawgs, or porn ... tried to snap a pic of a bald eagle, but to far away.
 
Jimmy - please send a memo to all Snyders Lake fish that they need to be very cooperative for JJII !
