nice fish 79, you mean no pink meat for you ? whats that rapala thing... shhhhh.....

some day I'll wander south but for now still cant shake the north country and it ever expands. I really think I'll die there , not a bad thing indeed... A few more places added to my memory banks thanks to Mr. J....

yeah tuna, i should of took the lure off before the shot.. tuna , i would have liked them on the woolybuggers but the water was moving..clear but moving..also the lighting was getting too crazy i only stayed a half hr..thanked the fish on the way out..lol yes, you do have so many places to fish in adk park. Believe me, if I didn't have a place to maintain, i'd be trailing up towards you. On the way back this morning, all the streams i fished were coffee mud.

Looks like the old trestle on the bk, but hard to tell. Just got back working in sidney and 2 nights on the WB. The water was moving and freezing. Got a couple of small ones on nymphs but it was pretty slow.

If I had more time I would have gone to the east branch but when you only got about 2 hours to fish, the closest option is always the best.

I'll be back done for next week too and if the flows drop those fish are in trouble. The flying ants have been out and they are easy pickins then, but the flows have gotta drop.

GREAT PICS THOUGH AND GREAT FISH, the fish say delaware, but that first pic looks like the bk. Great job!! One of these days we'll get together.

Dude if that is the trestle on the Bk I used to live right around the corner on mountain pool, but always fished the trestle. this week, monday was a washout, but tues and wed, the wb was at least clear.

right about the del jk, fishs eddy bridge..from the kayak on the far side, it was a few hrs into the storm on sunday.. it was raining pretty good got there 4:30 pm i was out of there by 6pm with one take on an iso ,,that was a small fallfish,,went to the bk just downstream butternut campgrounds for two small CR bt on the same fly before it really started lightning and that was enough for me. Those big ones were caught midnight and quickly released. Yes it is sure moving up there even now! I'm looking forward to later next week, think I want to try more of the bk ,it is still cool enough for this time of year.
