Where to stay??

Plannin our first trip to the Olcott - Oak Orchard area for kings first weekend of October. Need the names of some motels or bed & breakfast in that area where we can find reasonable rates. Not very particular, just need a warm bed to sleep in and a place to take a hot shower. any info links to websites would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks.

The Lighthouse Motel in downtown Olcott isn't bad. There's another place... motel and restaurant, a few blocks away on rt 18 but I can't remember the name. Both places are fisherman friendly with large parking lots for boat trailers.

Search Google.  There is a site out there that the town of Newfane runs that has all the motels and cottages listed.

Wish I had a boat to take out on the Lake O... nothing like the sound of a dipsy or jet popping

I found a brand new place In Newfane that isn't even advertised yet. Its called Ontario Shores. newly remodeled house that sleeps six. Everything is updated and brand new with grill, fridge, freezer, microwave, etc.... Right by the lighthouse hotel I believe. 85 bucks a night double occupancy 10 dollars extra each person after. PM me if you want the adress or phone number.
