Ok - need help with a dilema ?!

I have WAYYYY to much going on this weekend and it looks like i might not get out at all (would be my 1st missed weekend since April)   ... i was thinking no biggy i'll plan a weeknight trip this week just to keep me from losing it LOL

Well now i see the weather is going to be GREAT and read a few reports of fish being active with the cooler weather including a few slobs (one very close to 8lbs) !!!

If i go it's going to have to be like 4am - 8am and that's about it ... i'll be spent in the evening though.

Do i let it go OR go with my gut ???
I'm so confused !!!

What do i do ????

BB thats a tough one, sometimes we fish because we want to and sometimes in my case because I have to and then I don't really fish at all. I say if you really want to fish then go for it !!! If you think you need to fish to keep on top of things the let it go... The fish will be waiting..

    Some answer huh ?

Fish DO sleep too, you know!

I think you early-risers are just out there at the break of dawn catching all those crackhead bass that have been awake all night freaked out and watching for police boats and shady fish that might be out to get them.

They are dumb and strung-out, from what I hear.

I much prefer a more civilized approach:  allowing the smart and more refined bass a chance to wake up, have a morning cup of coffee, put in an 8hr workday, and THEN start thinking about pouncing on my swimbait.

    Those 4am fish are whacked....

Brian! Brian! Brian!... You know as much as you like fishing, If you don't go you'll be wondering for the next 2 months was that the trip I would have caught the 7lb plus or the trip I would have landed the mother load of bass 4lbrs 5lbrs 6lbrs on top water lures..... maybe that realy big lunker that only feeds at those times when no ones around cause of the early hours, that fat, monster bass that is the king of that lake with old broken lures hangin from his lip and scars across his head the one that has long passed 8 lbs and lurks in the thickest and darkest of water just waiting for a bass fishin mainiac that will get up early enough to catch him... just a thought

A lure drawing the first strike of an early morning, the strong tug on the end of your line, the excitement of a leaping fish... that,s livin large!

Well you won't be alone Brian. I may be just over 50 but I can still get up early for fishin! I'll be hittin the water at 4:15 am and castin by 4:20. I have a strong hunch that this little cool snap has turned the fish on after high skies and heat all week.
