It won't be long

Just think guys, before you know it everything will be all frozen over.  I can't wait to get on the ice this year.

I live in Erie and am looking for good ice-fishing salmon spots within a decent driving distance.  Anyone have any suggestions?

While not Salmon   The bay produces a lot of Steel thru the Ice......    And I recommend a Shanty it gets awful cold and windy out there.......

I read in the paper yesterday that the rental place at Chestnut is possibly renting shanty's this year....

I personally hope the ice holds off as long as possible this year, I would much rather fight a fish in open water.  My ice fishing excursions consist of my vex, a case of beer, shanty, heater, and rods...just a way of alleviating cabin fever to me

The moment of truth. Where all other things unconsciously melt away from our minds the instant a fish takes our fly. We stand there on the water with wide eyes, caught in a battle stance with an idea of confidence and hope
