Anyone Fish meadow Grounds

I've been told that there are smallmouth in this lake....does anyone know if there is any truth to this. Any other opinions on the lake would be helpful, Thanks

    Yes, there is Smallies in the Meadowgrounds. Numbers I don't know, but I caught an 18 incher through the ice a few years ago on a shiner. I have not fished the lake in a couple of years and never had  a really good day on the lake, but the bass that I caught were quality fish.  Like any body of water I guess you need to fish it and figure the fish out.  I usually only fished it a couple times a year.  There is also walleye in the lake.  Good luck and let us know how you do.  Oh there use to be a biologist report on the PA fish and Boat commissions site on a census they done on the Meadowgrounds, I can't remember the year of the census, but it may still be posted.  Shane

    where is this lake . down fulton county been there many times got some big crappies that's years ago how it now i like to have a come back on this dream on boys
