Variations of woolly buggers...

I picked up a fly pattern book this afternoon.  It has over 1600 patterns in it.  There are 54 different wooly buggers in it.  I know that there are countless ways to make different ones.  I was wondering if any one would like to share their favorite versions.  Here are my favorite two from the past few years.

Garbage Bugger ( I fish it like a nypmh on the bottom)
Hook - Size 10 3xl nmyph or streamer
Thread - Red
Bead - Tungsten
Tail - Peacock krystal flash, Grizzly marabou tied short and full
Rib - Red ultra wire
Body - Ice dub peacock
Hackle - Grizzly died brown

Sage Bugger ( I fish it like a streamer)
Hook - Size 8 3xl nymph or streamer
Thread - Black
Cone - Black or gold
Tail - Black Marabou
Body - Sage green estaz
Hackle - Black saddle or schlappen, tied tip first so the longer fibers are at the head of the fly

    thread- uni 8/0 fire orange
tail-white marabou, 4 to 6 strands pearl krystal flash, tail 1 to 1 1/2 times shank length
body-rear half, fl. red or orange med. chenille

    front collar-fl. yellow chartreuse rabbit
    head- fire orange

A very good big or high water steelhead bugger, I tie it with rabbit fur collars instead of a traditional palmered hackle to give the fly more durability, movement, and a different look to the steelhead.  See Fly Fishing & Fly Tackle, Swinging Flies, 4/09 for a pic of this fly.
