You're there everyday dude, I'm sure you'll find them...  and when you do, make sure you promote it with a fishing report 4 times a week like you did with Cascade Creek.

Cascade has been renamed to "Where did all these guys come from Creek".

The catfish have made it all the way to the 19th hole of the eastside golf course. Lots of guys already know about it though, get there early!

You should promote catch and release for catfish, if everyone frys them there will be no more to catch and people will complain that there 37.00 is wasted because there are not catfishes jumping up on shore.

I ran into quite a few cats in elk about 6 years ago.As for the time of year, probably late April. I know there were still a few steelheads around and trout season was in full swing. I literally caught them every cast on a Bass Assassin crappie jig. These were big channels, all in the 10+ pound range. hope this helps

yeah i've tried walnut and theres tons and i mean tons of smalls in mancester and bellow i've pulled a couple 6 pounders outta there..and i dont eat cats outta erie just to much junk they eat off the bottom and dont feel like taking chances..i just want some big cats or decent cats that i can fish for in the creeks..by the way i found out a new extremely affective method for catching carp, smallies, and all other species..3" walleye grub by Yum..the fish bite and wont let go!

Due to strange weather patterns all catfish have been sent a memo that reads: Do not enter Lake Erie tributaries until midnight July 2nd, and when the first light hits only take small dries. ( I heard they were "slammin" em in Cascade)

    Kast,

There are no secrets to cats.  At the time of you started your thread, you could have slayed the cats off any trib on Lake Erie.
