Cat fishing allegheny

Anybody catfishing the river yet? I'm trying this weekend at fishermans cove.

    generally where is fishermen's cove? Oil city? emlenton?  just curious.
     
    report from other places says the fishing is fantastic in the middle/lower alleghany.  The cats seemed to have not made it up to kinzua, however.

    haven't gone for cats yet but the neighbor kids went somewhere above braburn dam and caught around a doz a few nights ago biggest about 26 in smallest 12in all on worms

    watch out for hellbender's and mudpuppys this time of year!

    Fishermans Cove is located just south of Franklin,Pa. It is where Sandy Creek flows into the river.
