fished shenango on friday could not catch a crappie on the wood did manage doing ok drifting and trolling in 5ft water sun was bright but still thought they would have been on the wood watched others fishing the wood and did not see one crappie caught any ideas thanks

    I too fished Friday and the same thing with me.
    The bite was slow and it seemed like they were mouthing the minnows and not really aggressive.
    Most of mine came from 4-5 ft. away from wood.
    The white bass bite was near zero.
    I,m guessing it was due to a cool down on the water temp.
     
    Almost forgot,
    I did catch a musky and a walleye. Both small.
