gypsy moths

Buggers are starting to come out everywhere.   Anybody notice any ?

I contacted the state last year about an area (pretty large) that was destroyed by the moths.  I showed concern for this year as the trees may die if hit two years in a row.  I was told by the DCNR that there was evidence that a fungus would kill them this year.  Sure doesn't look like it so far.

Thank Fast Eddy for cutting costs for spraying.  Think it was by 35% or something.

My reports and advice are for everyone to enjoy, not just the paying customers.

Luckily, none yet. Last year was the worst I ever had. Hope that was the peak...... lost a lot of trees. They love those white oaks...

Some people are like slinky's; not really good for anything, but, they bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs...

Might as well, Shawn.  If they whack those white oaks, I'm in trouble, again.

Doesn't look like the frost did anything to the oaks in yard last night.     The sulphurs stuck in the interior of my truck weren't as lucky.  There was a survivor.  I threw her out the window at Port Matilda if anyone is looking for a sulphur.

That guy is a piece of work. Have you seen what he's trying to do with the federal "simulus" money that was to be for education? They're trying to reduce the money that the state would normally give school districts by the same amount as the "stimulus" money. 0 net gain for schools and all the "stimulus" money goes to the state. He's a POS!

I could not agree with you more. I HATE that dude and I cannot wait until he is no longer governor. Only then will Pennsylvania have even a chance to become a better place to live.
