Rod Building Question

Does anyone have any experience with the R L Winston Boron rods/blanks?  I'm thinking of buying a 10# blank and building a modified switch rod with it (slightly shorter than the average switch rod).  Just wanted to get some opinions before shelling out the cash.  Thanks to all who reply.

    Swinger,
I did a quick search but didn't find the switch blanks for sale (just the completed rods).  I'll have to look some more.  Anyway, I'm not sure if I want to go the extra length anyway (still debating it in my head).  In fact, I'm not sure I even want to go with a spey foregrip, I'm thinking about using the spey rear grip but just a full wells instead of the spey foregrip.

Gloomis sells them and you can get the Beulah blanks from Ultimate Angler too.

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.
