Shanango trout

anyone have any luck fishing trout this year below the dam? my brother and I caught a few last weekend. went yesterday but 7 gates @ a ft equals no fun on the river....

    Your right about the gates,   sucks.
    A guy the other day had to be rescued because the current was pushing him into deep water.
    A tree limb saved him from going under.
    I stood in it for an hour and my back is killing me from the constant force on me.
    Did catch ,or had, 10 on.
    The flow was so bad that the hook pulled out of all but one.
    Used a caddis #18.

    we usually have on a Cd-3 gold or perch rapala.  or threading minnows with a needle and treble hook.
