COYS

I will be hunting a 3 0r 4 year gobbler 2moro morning.I was wondering what would be my best coy setup?I watched him friday morning the hens came out 5 minutes before him.Then him came out struting an gobbling.I will be setup on a tram road 10 yards in the woods.He's coming to a big alfalfa field early he got there at 6:05 or 6:10 friday.

    If it was me I'd leave the decoy's at home. Just set up where you plan and let the morning play out. My reason not to use the decoy's is if the hens are coming out 1st the decoy's might spook them before he comes in. If he was alone that's different then I would use a a couple hens and a jake decoy or just a jake decoy.

    use just 1 jake decoy. the hens arent so attracted to the jakes decoys, but when old tom comes out he thinks jake is there for 1 of his hens and he comes running for a battle. those are his hens and he will be ****ed. dont use a hen, he has enough girl friends.
